Republican Senator Tells Olmert Not to Give Up Jerusalem

Republican Senator Tells Olmert Not to Give Up Jerusalem
Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is getting some free advice from a U.S. conservative senator on issues that go to the heart of the peace process.

"Don't give up Jerusalem," Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) said he told Olmert when he met with him on Monday.

Kol hakavod
(congratulations) to Senator Brownback for reminding Olmert that Jerusalem is holy and inspiring to many Bible-believing Christians. Although Olmert should already know this, such precious information bears repeating - especially as Olmert appears hard of hearing and heart and dangerously divisive.

If Senator Brownback attempted to pray or read the Bible upon the Temple Mount (where Jesus and the apostles taught and prayed) he would see that Israel doesn't protect the religious rights of Jews or Christians where the biblical temples stood, but shamefully aid and abet Nazi-Muslim occupation of Judaism's holiest site, turn a blind eye to daily religious discrimination against non-Muslims and deport those who expose this deplorable situation.
