Today was Yom Kippur, so I begin to write on a "clean slate," beginning with synagogue services (2 1/2 hrs.) last night to usher in this holiest of Jewish days.

I mainly went for the experience, as well as spiritual solidarity with my people (God's Church & the Jews) around the world. I read & sang only about a tithe of the service - amazed that I could keep up in Hebrew I'd never read before.

With me were other ulpanistim [Hebrew students] who elected to fast - mainly, I believe, for the experience or test or show-off of will-power. God alone knows. I scanned the faces of all those assembled in the make-shift synagogue with mixed emotions and an alien distance.

Tradition - even empty, hollow, shallow - has assisted Jewry to preserve this Day, however imperfectly; yet I also couldn't help but think of God & Kahane who might dismiss such "worship" as vain and such "devotions" as void. Liberal, Hellenist, humanists who have nothing to do with God and are ignorant of or deny His Word as a general rule, as hypocritical & unacceptable as professing Christianity on the pagan days of Christmas and Easter - temporarily becoming "religious" or sickly kind...Nevertheless, may we all ultimately worship the One True God and His Son, in spirit & in truth. G'mar hateemah tovah! [Be inscribed for good in the Book].

During this relatively easy fast today, I laid in bed & read & read The Good News magazine, meditated on life, my past, present and potential future. I prayed & asked for forgiveness and clarity of mind & purpose with patience to overcome sins and achieve success in this spiritual struggle, resolving to start again to abstain from alcohol and stop going to our kibbutz pub on erev Shabbat [Sabbath evening]. Today I really missed Church services and fellowship with the brethren, remembering our divine camaraderie.

My goals were to spend 3 wks. in Florida with Steve & Bob, also to change my name to David Ben-Ariel, 18 days in Europe with Mom & Lisa, make aliyah to Israel and join an ulpan (intensive Hebrew language course]. So far, so good. Now I must decide - God help me - to continue immediately the ulpan in ketah bet [class b - next level] somewhere, or temporarily suspend Hebrew to earn money on a moshav... Presently I'm reading Hannah Senesh - Her Life and Diaries. The first 50 pages I found so boring and forced myself to read what seemed like fabricated Jewish propaganda - the girl seemed too good to be true, nauseatingly a goody-two-shoes. Now I'm enjoying it more since she's mentioned historic events, like Hitler, etc.

I've wondered if perhaps the helplessness and hopelessness I've experienced in returning to God is part of His punishment to cause me to think twice before going astray again - not that He's ever forgotten or forsaken me, just letting me wallow for awhile in my own mire. Thank God I'm convinced of His Calling, Purpose & Interest in my life or I would have died ages ago. Mrs. Corpus once commented on how God had given me that gift of FAITH.

I must fulfill my personal destiny as a Son of Jerusalem, publish my poems, chart called PRIEST-KING - The Twin Pillars of Israel, & book THE GRAND DESIGN [since published as Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall]. I must, Lord-willing, RESTORE our Jewish-Christian presence in Jerusalem & Israel, significant since I'm of Bet David [House of David].

We received our first official rain the other day.

Hannah S. wrote: "When anyone in Hungary spoke of Zionism five or even 2 years ago, Jewish public opinion condemned him as a traitor of Hungary, laughed at him, considered him a mad visionary, and under no circumstances heard him out." Reminded me of how I too, subject to ridicule or suspicion, am a pioneer for God's Church here in the Mideast. Mr. Fiedler [one of my former ministers in the Worldwide Church of God] had said once about my "activist" activities (of writing to The Blade, my beliefs & actions) that I was so "unorthodox" - I countered so was Mr. Armstrong, and like him, would go it alone if necessary, convinced of the rightness of my convictions. Later, somewhat angry or frustrated, he said, "Why can't you just be like everyone else who goes to the Mideast for the Feast [of Tabernacles], is satisfied and returns? Why do you have to always make inroads?" I said what he called "inroads" I considered "open doors" that I never sought nor pushed open, but walked thru in faith, and that I simply believed what the Church taught, that I'm descended in part from Bet David & therefore choose to return to my ancient Homeland of the Jews - Israel. He said he was German but didn't feel he had to move to Germany. I said that was his prerogative.

Earlier, he & Mr. Gilbert [his associate pastor] gently cautioned me not to appear so Jewish that I'd give people a wrong impression of the Church - like saying Shabbat Shalom, etc. I thanked them for their concern, commented I was already aware of the need to be balanced, but also that God had used my understanding of the Mideast to become all things to Jews & Arabs, more so than others in the Congregation. Then when H.Q.'s forbade my Mideast Feast attendance indefinitely, fearing I might misrepresent the Church (as a homosexual) [due to one complaint about me during the Feast in Jordan that contradicted the biblical procedure of Matthew 18:15-17, as Mr. Gilbert noted], it further encouraged me to think a separation was due [like the US was driven to separate from England after a series of injustices], a different work to be accomplished [with a God-given focus on Jerusalem and the Jews].

Years before I was sent back home from Israel, strongly encouraged to do so, and was to await a minister resident in Israel to "supervise" my "activities." [Church elder Carl Fields commented to me, "Are they setting a precedent?"] I've waited 7 years, Grandpa has now died, I've received my inheritance, toured Europe and now, almost 30 (potentially significant), am living in Israel studying Hebrew! I have felt drawn to Israel, desire to become a part of this ancient but young nation's history, and fulfill, ultimately, my destiny in Jerusalem.

All this in one Toledo Blade article about area campuses jumping on the black bandwagon to make martyrs out of thugs and feel smug about it and pretend racism is a one way street.

Where is the White-American Assembly, UT's White Student Union, Bowling Green State University White Student Union, NAAWP? Oh, but that would be "racist," wouldn't it? How glaring the double-standards continue to be -- a deplorable status quo that must end.

The institutionalized racism of reverse discrimination has got to go! No more racist "affirmative action" or quotas or hide behind the color of your skin because you lack character or qualifications!

With so many black men pretending to be ministers, racist pimps from the pulpit, you wouldn't think that the black community would have such disproportionate amount of criminals and such an outrageous rate of illegitimacy. Black community: preach to yourself! Stop blaming others for your own self-inflicted problems. Stop proving stereotypes about you are too often true; everything from you don't fight your own battles but gang up on somebody (like the black "Jena 6" against the white "Jena 1"); you're not working and supposedly can't afford to pay for your own food and housing but find the time and money to make banners and posters and tee shirts and take a joy trip down South feeling important. Educated white folks (Euro-Americans, British-Americans, Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans, German-Americans, Scottish-Americans, Dutch-Americans, French-Americans, Greek-Americans, Norwegian-Americans, etc.) just shake their heads in dismay at such stupidity and misguided zeal.

Instead of trying to intimidate the justice system in Jena to pervert justice and let thugs go free, accusing them of throwing away the future of those six blacks who savagely beat the one white student, teach your illegitimate children to be responsible and stop throwing away their future by gang-banging, selling drugs, etc. Oh, but that demands at least one parent they can claim who cares enough before they get into trouble with the law and then suddenly find family and friends expressing "righteous indignation" and interest in the case.

Where are the parents of that six pack? Didn't they teach them to cherish diversity? To respect freedom of speech? Understand different views? Instead they resorted to violence to express themselves like brute beasts who can't debate or exercise enough self-control to engage in civil disobedience.

It's very clear, to objective observers, that my reference here to foreign filth was concerning the foreign mosques that spiritually pollute the Temple Mount.

Again, the Arabs are the same race as the Jews. It should be clear I'm referring primarily to the filth of a FIFTH COLUMN that seeks to undermine Israeli sovereignty and mass murder Jews.

However, from a biblical standpoint, the hostile Arab forces occupying the Temple Mount are considered spiritually unclean Gentiles. That isn't racist - it's religious: believe it or not. Have you never read Jesus' reference to Gentiles? He called them dogs. Is He racist? Or merely a good ol' bigot?

Regardless, I don't cower before such abused terms as "racist" or "racism." I wholeheartedly reject the PC cult and encourage others to do likewise and break free from its shackles.

Popes are for members of the Roman Catholic cult of Mystery Babylon, as many Protestants once acknowledged (even if they condemned themselves in doing so, as they are daughters of that religious system).

How ominous, considering biblical prophecies warn of an impending interfaith intoxication that will cause many to stumble and fall for another religious world leader in the same bloody Vatican office pretending to be a pope for all peoples.

The plain truth is that the pagan pope (Catholics aren't Christian) was a Roman wolf in sheep's clothing, a politician who spoke out of both sides of his mouth. Remember the popes are both a religious leader and head of state.

By Pope John Paul II's support for an accursed "Palestine" - a perversion of dismembered parts of the Holy Land occupied by Arabs, an artificial division of the Promised Land of ISRAEL (Joel 2:3) - he aided and abetted the Nazi-Muslim goal of the phased destruction of Israel (Ps. 83:4); the pagan pope met with the hardened criminal guilty of shedding the most Jewish blood since Hitler, Herr Arafat, upon Judaism's holiest site, the Temple Mount - polluting it with their unholy presence. I confess Pope John Paul II spoke pretty platitudes, and appeared to be different, however we're warned even Satan appears as an angel of light and looks can be deceiving, but the bottom line is he's the same old thing: an unrepentant leader of the Roman Catholic Church that covets the Temple Mount; the representative of a monstrous church that continues to dream of a Crusader-Kingdom with Jerusalem as its capital even if it becomes the world's worst nightmare; a false father figure who abused his innocent appeal to call upon Europe to remember their roots, to revive the unholy Roman Empire that will wreak havoc upon all in the name of their Pax Romana, their counterfeit kingdom of God, that won't hesitate to come to power over the dead bodies of anybody who gets in their way.

Should Christians Judge?

The typical liberal misunderstanding of the Christian religion is that Christians shouldn’t judge anybody. This misinterpretation comes from a superficial reading of Rabbi Yeshua’s (Jesus’) teaching where He said: "Judge not, that ye be not judged…" (Luke 7:1-5). But when read IN CONTEXT it’s understood that God will hold us to a standard as strict as that which we demand of others.

All judgment must be tempered with mercy. Jesus clearly taught that we can see others imperfections (the "mote" in their eye) and help to remove it ONCE we have first gotten the "beam" out of our own eye. The purpose is to help and not hurt: constructive criticism, not self-righteousness or sinister motivations.

There is a great difference between judging an act and condemning a person to Gehenna (Hell) fire. Only God truly knows the thoughts and intents, and potential, of any individual. When God delivered to Moses various statutes and laws for the nation of Israel, He commanded that they judge and condemn to death some individuals for certain infractions.

When Jesus pardoned the woman caught in adultery, He didn’t excuse her actions but admonished her to "go and sin no more" (John 8:11). In other words, repent (1 John 3:4; 2:4). He acknowledged it was a sin worthy of death, but obviously forgave her for God’s greater purpose, discerning a truly repentant attitude.

She didn’t argue about what technically constituted sin, lie about it, or threaten to vigorously go after her accusers. Jesus had let their own guilty thoughts shame them into leaving the scene and leaving her alone with the Savior (where we must all ultimately appear).

Again, the apostle Paul wrote that "he that is spiritual judges all things" (1 Cor. 2:15). Today such a Scripture would be politically incorrect. It appears as if it’s "live and let live," "never judge," as long as whatever it is is wrong and not right! The spiritual person is to judge everything based upon the Law Book that we call the Holy Bible. In fact, the fact that so many people are confused as to what’s right and wrong and have blurred any DISTINCTION between the two is the fault of faulty ministers!

Yes, I’m judging them! I’m judging them by their lack of performance since the Scripture teaches that they’re supposed to "teach my people the DIFFERENCE between the holy and the profane, and cause them to DISCERN between the unclean and the clean. And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it ACCORDING TO MY JUDGMENTS (not the latest poll): and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths" (Ezek. 44:23-24).

We’re to view the news from a higher perspective, through God’s eyes, and judge everything accordingly (Isa. 55:8-9). As is far too evident in our attitudes and actions, we’re so far away from true spirituality that it’s past time to read God’s mind and go by the Book! (Deut.17:18-20). Without that stabilizing standard there’s only chaos and confusion.

May God bless the American and British peoples, and our Jewish brethren, to remember our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities, restore law and order and flourish rather than flounder (Malachi 4:4).
